The Inner Game of the Artist – Mick Javaid
IMPORTANT INFORMATION — ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS OF WORKSHOPS
THE WORKSHOP WILL NOT BE RECORDED
You can spend years learning new techniques, studying other artists, and filling sketchbooks, yet still feel like you’re not truly moving forward.
Becoming a better artist isn’t just about improving your technical skills. It’s also about understanding the mindset, habits, and decisions that shape how you create, grow, and build a career.
The Inner Game of the Artist is a 3-hour interactive workshop designed to help you step back from simply making art and take a closer look at the artist behind it.

About The Course
Together, we'll explore finding your artistic voice and identity, developing your taste, overcoming art block, working without relying on motivation or inspiration, building confidence in your creative decisions, and breaking through the habits and mindsets that can keep your work stuck.
We'll also dive into the realities of building a career as an artist, including networking, handling rejection and comparison, putting yourself out there, and creating opportunities for yourself.
This isn't a traditional lecture or software demo. Throughout the workshop, you'll work through guided exercises, creative prompts, personal reflection, discussion, and real-world examples designed to help you apply these ideas directly to your own art and career.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have:
● A clearer understanding of your artistic identity, interests, and direction
● A better understanding of what may be holding your creative growth back
● New ways to approach art block, motivation, and creative uncertainty
● Greater clarity around the kind of artist you want to become
● Concrete actions you can take to start moving in that direction
The goal isn't simply to leave with more information. It's to leave with a different perspective on your art, yourself, and what comes next.
The workshop will conclude with a 30-minute live Q&A.
Come ready to participate, reflect, and do some real work on yourself as an artist.
