GT – Gouache Techniques

This immersive course is designed for both beginners and intermediate artists looking to explore the versatile medium of gouache. Over the span of five days, students will learn how to harness the unique properties of gouache paint—its opacity, vibrancy, and re-workable nature—while working through a variety of compelling subject matter, including majestic mountain scapes, serene seascapes, and architectural forms as well as how to set up and paint a nocturne painting. Through hands-on demonstrations, students will develop a strong foundational understanding of gouache and gain the skills to confidently create their own dynamic works.
