Instructor Bio

James Paick is a concept artist & creative director hailing from Los Angeles, California, with a rich background in the arts dating back to his childhood. He honed his skills at the prestigious ArtCenter College of Design, specializing in illustration and digital painting. His career journey has taken him through various sectors, including entertainment advertising & marketing, and ultimately the video game industry, where he thrived as a concept artist. Establishing his own studio, Scribble Pad Studios, James has contributed his talent to an array of projects spanning films, video games, animation, theme parks, commercials, book covers, and more, amassing over 20 years of industry experience. Scribble Pad Studios has worked many IP’s and studios such as: RIOT, FOX, Activision, BLUR, Sony, Naughty Dog, Cloud Imporium, WOTC and more!
