This course will go through the steps on how to get started with Blender. With Blender growing at a fast rate in the industry, the best way to start is with the basics. We will look at the user interface, basic modeling tools, addons, basic lighting, texturing, and rendering. At the end of the course, you will be able to create a simple, finished scene. Whether you have previous 3D experience or want to get started in 3D, this course is great for anyone who wants to take that journey with Blender. The focus of this course is to get a basic crash course in Blender. Basic UI, Modeling, Texturing, Lighting and Texturing.
This course is 10 weeks in duration and meets once per week for 3 hours per meeting.
Each week, the online classes are live at the specified time (PST timezone) in a private GOTO-MEETING classroom. Classes are recorded and students can rewatch via stream for the duration of the term. Class links, teachers notes, class recordings along with homework submission will be hosted on a private class DISCORD.
