Go deeper into storyboarding as we explore how to create entertaining visual stories and memorable character moments. We’ll build on storyboarding fundamentals and go into techniques such as : reading in between the lines with scripts, building specific character acting, and clearly and effectively communicating your story purpose. We’ll explore finding your unique voice in storytelling, while creating professional level boards.
The focus of this course is to further exploration of Storyboarding and storytelling skills for animation. Focus on building existing fundamentals and complex problem-solving. Exploration of storyboarding’s role in the animation pipeline and creating professional-level storyboards.
This course is 10 weeks in duration and meets once per week for 3 hours per meeting.
Each week, the online classes are live at the specified time (PST timezone) in a private GOTO-MEETING classroom. Classes are recorded and students can rewatch via stream for the duration of the term. Class links, teachers notes, class recordings along with homework submission will be hosted on a private class DISCORD. The DISCORD link will be sent approximately 5-7 days prior to your class start date to the registered email address.
