Mikael Javaid-Camua is a Concept Artist and Visual Development artist working in games, animation, and film. He has worked on IP's such as the Call of Duty series, Jurassic World, Watchmen, Apex Legends and has worked with clients such as Activision, Netflix, Dreamworks, Warner Bros. and Meta.
This is a mentorship program with concept artist Mickie Camua. This program is for artists who want to level up their skills within concept design & use of blender pipeline used in video game studios. This is an ideal mentorship for beginner to intermediate level artists.-Apply Blender and photoshop tools for an effective pipeline-Design functional locations for gameplay-Create production ready designs and concepts used in video games-Learn current pipeline used in studios to give your portfolio the extra edge
Mickie's extensive background and knowledge in AAA video games will be used to help guide and develop your skills to be relevant and current in today’s design industry.
Students will be expected to devote time and be dedicated in order to get through the program. No two students' mentorship will be alike, each student to help him/her achieve their individual goals- whether it be to improve their current technical or design skills or to build a portfolio. Each student will receive 1 hrs personalized time with the instructor per week. You can also be a part of hours of critiques and demos with the rest of the group. Students will be expected to devote time in order to accomplish their goals for this program.
